Does anyone here use #shavian?
I'm really liking the idea, but my list of things that I'd like to do/learn is already really long.
So the question is where does this end up on my list in terms of priority?
I saw that yesterday, very interesting.
The thing that caught my attention was actually the bit about voiced/unvoiced consonants, as t-d, c-g and p-b are some of the mutations in Welsh, and I hadn't realised they had this connection.
@suearcher I was rubbish at languages at school but I learnt Dutch in my 30s and have been interested in languages ever since. Especially old English. Would love to learn German but without a reason to speak it, it's doomed to failure. I can't learn French, I've tried. Horrid language.
Gonna have to be #python
@fuzzyface @suearcher Learning Python is much easier than learning a human language!
@TomSwirly @suearcher Yes, and if that which you are speaking with doesn't understand exactly what you mean, it tells you so.
